THE GOSPEL

Friend, this is the most important thing that you can know. The Bible is very clear that we can know without a doubt that we can spend eternity with God in Heaven. In the book of 1John 3:15 it says, ”These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life” and the Bible speaks of it and the Lord's return in 1Thessalonians 4:17 where it, says ”Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Many people we have spoken to that have attended a church their whole life and had a religious up bringing but have realized that in spite of all their religion, they were lost and did not know where they would spend eternity. Jesus said that religion will never get us to Heaven “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23

You do not have to go through your whole life wondering “am I good enough to get to Heaven”. Maybe all you have to hang on to is an emotional experience that you try to repeat, but inside you know it is not the truth. Please read the information on this page in its entirety and think about it. There is Hope because GOD has provided a way. This is the True Gospel that the Apostles preached.

You have sinned against God.
Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
James2:10 - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Isaiah 64:6 - But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The first thing that must take place in our lives is to agree with God about your sinful condition. This is not just admitting that you are not perfect but realizing and agreeing that you have transgressed God and broken His Law. To break one part is to break all of it.

God’s holy nature demands that all sin must be punished.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Revelation 20:10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:14-15 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 14:10-11 - The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

The Bible says that we have a wage for our sin. If you remember James 2:10 says that one sin to God is the same as fifty. That wage is death and it is not only physical death but spiritual death also. The Bible describes this second death in various passages in the Bible. Hell is a literal place with literal fire and literal torment and pain. It is without a doubt the most horrifying place a person can go.

Well, up to this point you are probably wondering about the Hope that I mentioned earlier. Hell is certainly real, but you do not have to go there. God created Hell for Satan and his devils. God has provided salvation, if we will receive it. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death, but it also says that the Gift of God is Eternal Life.

Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for your sin.
Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1Peter 2:22-24 - Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Hebrews 10:10 - By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
1John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Jesus Christ has paid your sin debt in full. He shed his blood on the cross, died, was buried and rose again for you and me. That is what John 3:16 is all about. You should have been on the Cross, but instead He went there for you as your substitute. Only Jesus Christ could do that because Jesus Christ is the only sinless One to walk the earth. Jesus loves you so much that He gave every thing so that you can spend eternity with God and escape Hell.

You may be wondering If Jesus paid for my sin will I automatically go to heaven?”

You must trust in Jesus’ sacrifice alone to save you and nothing else.
Titus 3:5-7 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 3:20 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

In Galatians chapter three, the Apostle Paul told the Galatians that they were foolish and that they had been bewitched because they asked Jesus to save them but believed they had to keep their salvation by works. Jesus has paid it all. You must understand that when a person gets saved it is because they have placed their complete faith and hope in what Christ has done alone. Unfortunately, many false teachers teach that James chapter two teaches works and faith salvation. Nothing could be farther from the True Gospel. James said to show our faith by living for God. He in no way teaches to work for your salvation.

”So if Christ died for all sin, but not everyone goes to Heaven, how do I receive eternal life and a home in Heaven?”

To receive eternal life you must repent and receive Jesus Christ
Luke 18:13-14 - And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 3:18-21 - He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

1John 5:12 - He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

When we have a change of mind and attitude about sin, self and God and ask Jesus Christ (not the brother of Satan) to forgive us of our sin and save us, God has promised that we shall be saved. It is not a matter of water baptism, sacraments or speaking in tongues, it is simply a matter of seeking forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ. Anyone with any back-ground can receive Christ. If you never have, we urge you to do so today.
